|Legislative Committee on Health Care
November 20, 2019 – 9:00 a.m.
This is the first meeting of the 2019-2020 Interim. The agenda is not yet available.
|Recent regulatory changes allow states to receive Medicaid reimbursements for mental health treatment in inpatient settings known as IMDs, or institutions of mental disease. The Committee on Health will be hearing from the Department of Behavioral Health on why this exemption application will provide additional services for those living with a mental health condition. They will also be presenting the Crisis Now Model where the IMD waiver for the serious mental illness/serious emotional disability (SMI/SED) is a proposed solution.|
